I have two books that I am currently reading that I hope to finish early in the readathon. These books are:
#1. Smoke by Ellen Hopkins - I may be able to finish this one tonight before the readathon starts so I will let you know if I did or didn't finish this one tomorrow in my daily progress post. If I don't finish it tonight I will include the page I started on tomorrow so I can count it towards my page count!
#2. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee - This is a school book and we have assigned chapters nearly every day. We only have about 20 pages of this one left but am not sure when we will be finishing this. I will also let you know in tomorrow's daily progress post.
Here are some other books that I am going to start and hopefully finish during the readathon:
#1. 172 Hours On The Moon by Johan Harstad - I have heard so many great things about this book and it has sat on my bookshelves for quite some time now so it is a perfect time to read it! (351 pages)
#2. Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier - This one is my monthly book club book with one of my friends here on the Internet! I want to make sure I get this done because at the end of December things get super hectic and I don't want to not be able to read this one! (330 pages)
#3. Perfect Ruin by Lauren Destefano - This was a buddy read book and I definitely fell behind. I believe my buddy has finished this book and I want to be able to discuss it with her! (356 pages)
#4. Feed by M.T. Anderson - I recently have been hearing so many great things about this one so I definitely hope to get to this one! (299 pages)
#5. Adorkable by Sarra Manning - This seems like such a funny and cute book! I have really been wanting to read this for quite some time now so I am excited to read it! (387 pages)
#6. The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom - I recently bought this book and just haven't found the time to read it even though it is really short. I think this is a great concept though! (196 pages)
#7. Tokyo Heist by Diana Renn - I bought this book a few months back and I never really heard of it so I want to read it and see what it is all about! (364 pages)
#8. Please Ignore Vera Dietz - I read one book by A.S. King before and absolutely loved her writing style so I am pretty excited to read another book by her! Also, I have had this one on my bookshelf for months now! (323 pages)
I hope to get to all of the books I have listed! I will be posting daily progress reports so you can see how well I am doing.
